            VP has brought out the highly anticipated album called “Socal Gold 2009” that many fans have been looking for every summer. 
            This CD contains a lot of hot soca tracks from Carnival 2009 like “Bacchanal” by Destra, “Jepp Sting Naina” by Kes, Ravi B, & Hunter, and the number one Chutney Soca track called “Radica” by Kenneth Salick.

            There are a lot of good tracks to enjoy but I was expecting better ones especially the songs that were winners on Carnival day in Trinidad. However, tracks like “Plenty Gal” by Bunji & Beenie Man, “Looking Hott” from Patric Robert’s “Tight”, and “Handle Ya Bizniz” by Edwin Yearwood will get any nice fete going.           

“Soca Gold” comes with a nice DVD that shows Carnival 2009 in Trinidad and some excellent videos including a hot one by Destra Garcia.
