Rapper Down A.K.A Kilo referred to as the Ambassador of Latin Rap is set to release his new cool in the shade single
“Put Your Locs On” on Tuesday August 4th, 2009.

“Put Your Locs On” represents serioso Latino swagger, so lo lo cool and suave. It’s all about summer fun and evokes images of taking a ride to the beach in your drop top baby blue lo rider Chevy Impala to bask in the hot blazing Cali sun while sporting cool City Locs (sunglasses).

Down A.K.A. Kilo became a household name for his hit single
“Lean Like a Cholo.” With 800,000 copies bonafide sold, Kilo cholo skated all the want to the banco. Due to it’s success, Kilo’s now got it like that. But, Down A.K.A. Kilo never ever forgets to raise up his fans and thank them for helping him reach star status. He often jokes that, because of his fans, he no longer sleeps 5 to a bed!

Down A.K.A. Kilo has a penchant for writing tunes that instantly become the latest catch phrase. “Put Your Locs On” is predicted to be another cool in the shade Kilo killer quote.
