Fall in Love with Norah
After close to three years since the release of the highly successful album Not Too Late, Norah Jones is back with her new album titled The Fall. The Fall, which is Norah Jones’ fourth studio album. Looking for a new direction that involves different sounds and collaborations, Norah Jones sought out famed producer Jacquire King, who has worked with the likes of Tom Waits, Modest Mouse, and the Kings of Leon, to work on The Fall with her.

Fans will definitely be able to get a new feel for Norah, as her new band as well as songwriting collaborations from songwriters such as Ryan Adam, Okkervil River’s Will Sheff, and Jesse Harris are heard throughout the tracklist for The Fall. Norah Jones’ current single, “Chasing Pirates,” is lighting up airwaves around the world.

Though she wanted to switch things up a bit with her new album, Norah Jones’ doesn’t stray far from her jazz background, as she mixes her old tunes with a new, more poppish sound with The Fall. Although the new direction came with some criticism, The Fall has received great responses from professional sources such as Rolling Stone and the United Kingdom newspaper The Times.

The Fall is now available at local retail chains nationwide. The album is also available for purchase at NorahJones.com. If fans want a peek of the album before purchasing it then they can hear it for free on the "Exclusive First Listen" series on NPR.org. For fans that purchase the CD at Target, they get treated to an iTunes Deluxe Version with bonus tracks taken from Norah Jones’ live performance at New York City’s The Living Room.
