J.MONEY
1ST NAME LAST NAME AKA MR. FUTURISTIC
On the day that Michael Jackson passed away J.Money 1st NAME LAST NAME AKA MR. FUTURISTIC sat down with Crunk Magazine. When asked what artists if any he’d like to work with in the future his answer was…Michael Jackson.
Once was a hustler on the streets now he’s a hustler in the studio J.MONEY 1ST NAME LAST NAME AKA MR. FUTURISTIC is a bout to drop his debut album this Fall 09’. What can we expect from the Atlanta homegrown rapper? Well first we know the tracks on the debut piece are bound to be hot. Second J. Money’s style is unique and he comes off hard and this is what the people want. With will and pure determination J. Money approaches the industry. He reflects on his turbulent past and states this, “I know where I came from and where I am going. I won’t look back.”
The manager turned MC is now signed with Bases Loaded Records. We asked him how did that work? He once managed artists now he is an artist. J.Money contented, “I was always in the studio anyway so being on the other side of the MIC was easy.”
Atlanta fans are on fire for the hit single “1st Name Last Name.” In fact, the single has made it to the top of Atlanta charts some consecutive weeks. What does this mean for J. Money? Well certainly it has everything to do with the creation of prime hype. Fans are already hyped and we predict when the album drops in the Fall it will drop like a bomb. We think it’s going to be… explosive.
Not ashamed of a past that consisted of hustling in the st reets J. Money now gives back and talks about the things he’s doing in the community enthusiastically, “The kids, man are important. They need to know there’s nothing in these streets and I’m committed to telling them my story.” He also talked about the word futuristically. He said bluntly, “It’s how I’m living”. Crunk knows what that means. The rapper is fire and having worked with artists like Shawty Lo and Young Jeezy his debut album will reflect a serious artist trying to make it to the top. J. Money did say he’d like to work with Michael Jackson in the future. Crunk Magazine interviewed him on the day that Michael Jackson past away. How ironic was that? Or we wonder was it simply …futuristic?
